You will unleash the potential of your talents as never before.Sourcing Manager Key Responsibilities:Participate as member of various program and launch teams for assigned VPI (new product) programs. Work with Corporate Commodity teams in the identification/selection of suppliers for VPI Programs. Tracks and manages key commercial metrics for the programs. Summarizes and presents status at key Functional and Management Reviews. Manage select set of suppliers and interface with plant customers as necessary. Oversees, directs and continually improves the activities of Supplier Development process. Travel between 10% and 30% may be required. ' Leading and coordinating sourcing efforts (supplier identification, evaluation, selection, and management) during the VPI process.' Responsible for providing direct material purchasing support within CTT VPI programs.' Responsible for directing the VPI Engineering teams to the appropriate direct and prototype suppliers within the context of a core sourcing team overall commodity strategy.' Responsible for managing the relationships with direct and prototype suppliers engaged in CTT VPI programs.' Sourcing Manager is responsible for achieving savings with external and internal suppliers using lowest total cost (TCO) methods.' Responsible for maintaining and tracking measures for performance against the key indicators (i.e. delivery performance, Zero Defects, meet cost targets for programs, etc)' Sourcing Manager is the primary contact between supplier and CTT for new supplier negotiations and contracts to incorportate the work with Corporate Commodity teams. You will be held accountable for meeting all VPI program deadlines through each M review. Skills-Business or Engineering degree or 3-5 years materials or management experience desired.Knowledge of financial data analysis and use of databasesProject management skills.Experience working with a technical organization to cross-functionally drive completion of required technical work providing adequate lead time for purchasing to complete the required sourcing work.Oral and written communication skills.Strong negotiation and analytical skills.Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.SKILLS - QUALITY/IMPROVEMENT:Knowledge of AIAG Standards to include PPAP, APQP; ISO9001 and TS 16949 processes and procedures.Broad knowledge of commodities (Machining, Castings, Electronics, Assembly, Stampings and Coatings) and High-Volume manufacturing a plus.
