VP of Finance
Description Here is a great opportunity to work for a global leader in the medical device manufacturing industry and make a significant impact on their Accounting and Finance department. Our client is looking for a VP of Finance to lead and direct all aspects of Accounting and Corporate Financial Reporting on a global level including corporate accounting, SEC and related public company financial reporting, coordinating global audits, SOX 404 requirements and financial analysis. Requirements Candidates for this position will have at least a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance however an MBA is highly desirable as well as 12-15 years of progressive experience in Accounting roles for large public companies. Recent experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller would be ideal. Also required for this position is a CPA with BIG 4 experience who has strong knowledge of GAAP, FASB rulings and SEC regulations and laws including strong management skills. Our ideal candidate will also have experience with Acquisition Analysis, Due Diligence, Integration Expertise, SOX 404 Compliance as well as strong knowledge of SAP/BPS or similar software. 15% global travel can be expected with this position.
