Overview:
International Fortune 100 Company has immediate opening for an experienced VP of Manufacturing.
Position Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Organize, manage, and institute a formal manufacturing strategy for all manufacturing locations. Develop and implement a supply strategy in line with demand requirements, including scheduling and inventory control.Standardize a forum for sharing and implementing Best Practices for product and manufacturing specifications; and coordinate key performance indicators to measure and improve manufacturing capabilities and costs. Manage inventory control over all materials supporting manufacturing facilities. Establish and implement product and technology transfer practices. Assist with implementation of disciplines and practices to improve maintenance programs, safety and environmental practices, improvement of process engineering practices, and capital and planning management. Revitalize manufacturing practices, disciplines, and organization in line with the business leadership strategy. Standardize and optimize raw materials and components in coordination with the Director of Technology and the Director of Procurement.
Position Requirements:Minimum 10 years manufacturing experience, including production management, shipping and inventory control. Must be detail oriented with strong organization and project management skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills that promote effective performance and cooperation with all parties, internal and external.Statistical methods and variance analysis knowledge is highly desirable.Must possess high level Computer skills sets.Engineering background by degree or equivalent experience is required.Compound/Extrusion experience is a plus.
