Job Description UV/Vis Sales Specialist The person in this position will serve as sales professional and technical resource forThermo Scientific's NanoDrop UV/Vis and Fluorescence, as well as the Thermo Scientific cuvette - basedUV  instrument sales . This includes identifying opportunities and performing qualified productpresentations and demonstrations. The UV-Vis Sales Specialist will work closely with both direct and distribution channels to achieve sales targets.TheUV-Vis Sales Specialist  will help identify and nurture new or target accounts, departments, and/or key influencers as described in the annual sales plan.This person will also provide input to the factory for new product development and the execution of the annual molecular marketing plan . The individual will coordinate local delivery of pre- and post-sales application support for markets targeted by Thermo Fisher Scientific.  We require a bachelor degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences, with at leastthree  years of relevant sales or application experience, includinga working  knowledgeof  UV/Vis instrumentation  and technique .  Candidates must be also be knowledgeable with respect to the competitive landscape for UV/Vis products, and able to work with minimum supervision.Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, along with strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows platforms.  Travel at times up to50% annually to meet customer demands is required.  Salary plus commission. Education: BachelorsJob Level: Experienced
