COMPANY INFOClient is a small (2 million) fast growing supplier of high quality factory remanufactured transmissions, whose sales will soon double through new contracts and the acquisition of new stores. They provide quality transmission units for general and transmission repair businesses, commercial transmission suppliers & installers, dealerships and fleet maintenance suppliers. Their 45,000 square foot state of the art, world class facility in Southern NH houses an inventory of over 1000 automatic transmissions, cores and complete factory remanufactured units for FWD and RWD Domestic, European, and Asian import cars, trucks, SUVs and vans, including 4WD and AWD units. A custom transmission build can be turned around in 2 days or less. This position offers challenge, fun working environment, and solid benefits including 401K. JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Transmission Builder will diagnose, inspect and rebuild automotive transmissions in a manufacturing environment by performing the following tasks: Maintain a clean “world class” work environment Perform quality conscious work Maintain work on foreign and domestic transmissions Rebuild manual, automatic and transfer cases. QUALIFICATIONSThe ideal candidate will have 5 years automotive transmission rebuilder experience as well as a strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to problem solve and strong organizational and computer skills required. Dyno testing experience a plus.
