Christie Digital Systems USA, is the world's leading manufacturer of high performance projection systems and accessories.  Christie’s Managed Services group is responsible for the installation and maintenance of a variety of systems in digital-cinema and advertising which includes Christie projection equipment and many other communications automation devices. Managed Services, Training and Development is currently seeking a highly motivated Training Manager to spearhead the new Cypress training facility.  The candidate must live in or within a 40 mile radius of Cypress, CA.

Summary of Job: The Cypress TM will be responsible for the creation and implementation of a curriculum for internal training.  The TM will also provide training to new employees and ongoing training to existing employees within the Managed Services organization. 

Responsibilities/ Duties: Work with Sr. Training and Development Manager to create and implement a training program that fits the needs of the Managed Services field groupMeet with group managers to ensure needs are being metManage activities and provide training in the Cypress training facilityProvide field training to employees as requiredProvide system and process training to internal groups and individuals as required.

Qualifications/Requirements:

 Strong written and verbal communications Strong interpersonal communication Capable of adapting the learning style of those being trained. Must be analytical and capable of working independently with limited supervision Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Experience: Candidate with wealth of prior technical training and training program management experience preferredAbility to drive change in an organization through strategic training programs designed for internal and external customers Effective coordination with management to prioritize, prepare and facilitate training programs

Education:

Required:

 2yr or 4yr degree in Adult Education and Training with 3+ years experience in technical training

Desired:Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 5+ Years experience in technical training

Skills Desired:

 Training/Adult Education MathematicsWriting and Presentation Skills Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.) Advanced Networking and IT knowledge (TCP/IP, Windows, Unix/Linux) Experience in using Learning Management System and development of e-learning programs
