Seeking a Tool & Die Maker for a busy manufacturing company located in Northeast Philadelphia.
Requirements:
Metal working apprenticeship, trade school or minimum of 5 years experience working in the metal trade. Must have the ability to work with rough drawing, engineering sketches and formal drawings.Must have good communication skills and be able to work well with other team members in all levels of the company.Must be able to develop working sketches and plan the sequence of work to achieve specific tolerances and features and complete a flawless product on time.Must be able to adjust to changes engineering changes during the development of prototypes as engineering or customer changes occur.Must be capable of setting up and operating shop equipment such as lathe, milling machine, drill press and surface grinder.Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and use necessary PPE as required.Must be detail oriented, dependable and able to follow directions.
