Tig Welder 1G · Perform a variety of approved welding techniques· Learn and support lean manufacturing concepts and methods including cell setup, mapping and value streaming for efficient product flow· Personally accountable and responsible for own actions and job performance· Read and understand product and process drawings, procedures, weld symbols, and quality requirements· Make adjustments, within procedural limits, to fine tune the process in order to achieve conformance standards· Assist and train other employees in daily activities as needed· Maintain appropriate knowledge and ability levels to efficiently perform all assigned work and utilize this knowledge base to become proficient on new/unfamiliar assignments· Maintain a satisfactory high level of performance while following appropriate procedures and observing all pertinent safety rules and requirements· Document and log all parts as necessary and maintain all required paperwork in an accurate and current manner· Maintain a high level of weldment quality as documented by actual reject/nonconformance charting· Maintain work area and equipment in an organized, clean and FOD-free manner· Obtain and maintain all required qualifications and certifications in all appropriate metals· Perform other duties as required QUALIFICATIONS: Â· High School Diploma or GED· May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.· Utilize good verbal and written communication skills· A minimum of 2-3 years experience in manual TIG welding· Additional experience with semi-automatic/orbital welders preferred· Must successfully pass the EN-288 welding tests· Must exhibit professional behavior and attitude, technically and personally, in all aspects of the work environment and demonstrate respect for all others at all times· Ability to read, write and understand instructions, procedures, drawings and blueprints· Must possess a high level of manual dexterity, sound and reliable judgment and a willingness to learn· Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills· Ability to accurately perform moderately complex mathematical calculations· Ability to learn/perform basic computer operations· Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills · Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player   Job Requirements: Job Code : 63087167 Division/Department : Parker Hannifin
