Territory Manager Specialty Foods Sales – Food Service or Health Care
A rapidly growing, family-owned specialty food manufacturer is looking for two (2) Territory Managers or Food Service Sales Reps. We are small enough to have close working relationships but large enough to give you long term security and plenty of opportunity for growth. We are recognized as one of the top suppliers within the foodservice industry.
This position is responsible for developing a territory targeting health care facilities located in Southern California (Los Angeles and San Diego areas). The ideal candidate will be self-motivated; goal-oriented, and will have experience in building sales and developing a new territory.
Job Responsibilities Include:Identify new opportunities for business and drive growth with established customers. Utilization of a laptop computer and software (proficiency with Microsoft Office required) and ability to execute these programs. Complete product knowledge of a limited number of key targeted products. Solid knowledge of the sales process and steps needed to make an effective sales call including follow up. Sales efforts focused against a targeted customer list.
· An ability to travel 25% of the time.

Key Success Criteria:Prior sales experience with a proven track record of sales growth. Excellent planning, oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently. Position requires excellent self-management skills along with a high level of self-discipline and personal accountability. College degree or equivalent work experience required. Demonstrated record of acquired new business
Training Provided:On the job training and resources for personal development Close interaction with existing sales force One week of intensified product training Company orientation and ongoing support

Compensation: Salary plus commission, company car or car allowance, excellent benefits.
