Facilities Management/Maintenance is responsible for supporting the physical structure of a company facility.


What is expected of you for success in your role Demonstrates working knowledge of janitorial and maintenance tools Performs general physical labor with supervision Works toward necessary certifications and licenses Comprehends and applies maintenance and safety procedures
What is expected of you and others at this level in Facilities & Real Estate for functional success Proactively develops and maintains broad knowledge of the technical disciplines in own functional area(s); applies broad knowledge of trends and Collaborates with others and builds strategic alliances globally; negotiates to build broad-based support and/or persuades others in order to Ensures that customers have a positive experience; commits to meet or exceed customer expectations. Manages day-to-day operational processes; develops and implements procedures in response to changing business needs and program design. Evaluates alternative solutions/decisions in light of the potential impact on the internal/external customer and Cardinal Health; understands the resource implications of solutions and makes recommendations in adherence to governance and prioritization guidelines.

Accountabilities in this role
Work on a variety of facility issues including plumbing, mechanical and electrical. Facilities and machine maintenance experience required. HVAC experience preferred but not required.

 

 

Qualifications
High school degree or equivalent experience. Related experience preferred Certified Forklift operator, or be willing to train for certification Be able to lift 50 lbs. Good Math Skills preferred
