Hunter Fan Company a leading manufacturer of home comfort products has an opportunity available in our Technical Product Support Call Center located in our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN.

 Technical Support Representative – Full & Part Time Position

 

The Hunter name is synonymous with the Ceiling Fan.  In addition to these products Hunter manufactures a complete line of home comfort products that include humidifiers, air purifiers, bathroom exhaust fans, ventilation & circulating fans, lighting products, thermostats, home control solutions, and outdoor living products.  Our products are found throughout the home.

 

We are seeking individuals with experience in delivering technical product support in an inbound technical call center type environment.  Our Technical Support Representatives (TSR) deliver World Class Support on the large portfolio of indoor and outdoor home comfort products we design.  Specifically, they resolve all installation, warranty, and post warranty questions on our products via telephone and e-mail. They enter computer records of these activities and interact on a daily basis with a wide variety of people.  Our TSR’s insure that customer satisfaction is achieved through exceptional technical knowledge of our products and superior customer handling skills.  Our 122 year old company and its small team of TSR’s are recognized as customer focused.  This position reports to the Technical Support Supervisor in the Consumer Service area.

 

PC and data entry experience would be helpful.  We will provide training in this area for candidates with good computer and PC experience.  Knowledge of ceiling fans, home appliances and/or related service industries would be ideal.  Other areas of experience for top consideration would include repair and/or support background with industrial motors or tools, HVAC, or other electro-mechanical related service and support industries where you interfaced with customers to resolve product issues.  If you have documented experience in these areas we will give priority attention to your resume.

 

We operate in a busy support environment and seek quality associates who will help continue our long history of success.  Minimum educational requirement is a high school diploma with a two or more year technology degree being a plus.  Candidates with related experience and/or related education will be considered.  Ability to work a regular schedule, Monday thru Friday, with an occasional Saturday rotation is required.  Hunter performs background checks, drug screening, and reference verifications.
