Technical Parts Support Analyst

Technical Parts Support Analyst Responsible for reviewing, interpreting and analyzing complex related data for all International product lines in order to answer a broad range of inquiries from the International Dealer Organization, customers, and internal company personnel. Customer inquiries will be received via phone, fax and e-mail. Responsibilities: - Provide accurate and timely technical parts support to dealers and customers both internal and external by utilizing internal documentation and databases. - Provide superior customer support to International Dealers and customers utilizing professional verbal and written communication skills. - Position will be responsible for interpreting engineering, manufacturing and production bills of materials. Ability to read blueprints and truck parts catalogs. - Capability of researching other OEM and supplier websites, which includes bills of materials to provide end user with accurate data support. - Facilitate the implementation of catalog changes and improvements - Provide dealers and internal customers with training on International Parts Catalog (both paper and on-line catalog). - Position will also be asked to provide suggestions to department management for process improvements in order to continue superior customer service. Associates Degree in Automotive Technology; or at least 1 year of transportation experience At least 1 year of Customer Service experience At least 1 year of Automotive/Trucking experience Travel may be required 5 10 % US or Canada Ability to speak bi-lingual Spanish in technical terms Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values and a healthy, high performance culture. Overall automotive/truck product knowledge and or experience in the transportation industry Previous customer service experience Sound communication skills both written and verbal Ability to interpret various bills of materials, blueprints and parts catalogs Basic computer skills (Microsoft and Apple products) Independent decision making skills Good mechanical aptitude Ability to establish working relationships with various internal and external disciplines Visit us at www.Navistar.com to discover more about our organization.
