Technical Office Specialist

SaatiAmericas is a global leader in the development, production and marketing of high-quality textile and chemical products with 70 years experience and unrivaled know-how.

 

We are adding a Technical Office Specialist at our Schaumburg, IL facility to support the growing needs of the Production Department with the start-up of new products and the optimization of production processes.

 

Major responsibilities include:

 Create and maintain part numbers in the ERP system (SAP), including Bills of Material, routings and other production data.Assist with the startup of Production Projects / pre-production.Create and maintain new drawings and the drawing Data Base for all the manufactured custom items.Work on projects for productivity improvement, process efficiencies, cost reduction.Prepare cost analysis, maintain current knowledge of machinery and equipment and contribute to safety and productivity improvements.

 

Requires a degree in AutoCAD / Production Engineer w/ 0-2 years experience, or equivalent related experience / technical training. Candidate must have strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, AutoCAD LT-2D, and related engineering and business software knowledge. Must be a problem solver with ability to work independently. Bi-lingual a plus.
