Technical Manager Diesel Engines

Our client is a major international manufacturer of industrial equipment for a wide variety of aplications. They are seeking a dynamic individual to work as a Technical Service Manager. This work will involve directing a staff of field service technicians and in-house repair people. This position also requires an individual who can work with customers and diplomatically resolve service and warranty claims.

The company has been in business for over 60 years with steadily increasing sales and profit.
This is full time position with healthcare, dental and vision benefits.  Technician, Service Manager, Warranty, diesel engine, gasoline engine





Requirements


Interested candidates should have the following:

1.) At least 8 years experience as a technical manager for an industrial product. Diesel Engine experience a big plus. 2.) strong technical knowledge and experience with small engines. 3.) Currently living in Chicago or willingness to travel to interview at your own expense. 4.) Willingness to travel overnight on business 30% of the time.
