Technical Applications Engineer TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS ENGINEER Parker Hannifin Corporation, Electromechanical Automation Division, manufactures electromechanical systems for positioning and motion control. Example markets range from high-speed factory automation (automotive, packaging, aerospace), to high-end/scientific (semi-conductor, biotech, instrumentation, and computer peripherals). Our products are recognized worldwide for unmatched quality and reliable performance. We are accepting resumes for a TECHNICAL APPLICATIONS ENGINEER. This position requires the candidate to interface directly with distributors and end users to develop solutions, selecting mechanics and creating formal proposals for automation applications. A standard or custom system can also include the electronics with motors, drives, and controls. Travel to 15%. Requirements: BS in Science, preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology with 2 to 3 years experience in applications or design engineering. Strong computer, analytical and time management skills required. The candidate must have keen verbal and written communication skills. Experience with electromechanical system controls and/or laboratory inspection equipment is a bonus. Autocad or 3D modeling experience a plus.
