Technical Analyst, Senior - Supply Chain

The TA works in a team environment with business analysts, system experts and development teams throughout the requirements, design, development and implementation phases of a project lifecycle. The TA is responsible to develop cost-effective technical solutions to applications from business requirements using appropriate corporate technologies. The TA is accountable for the performance, quality and effectiveness of project deliverables and participates in multiple projects concurrently. They must develop and execute Quality Assurance Acceptance Test Plans to validate all the requirements are met for the developed software solution. Primary area of responsibility will be within Supply Chain materials receiving, replenishment order fulfillment and purchase order scheduling and electronic data exchange. Existing Supply Chain systems will be modified, enhance or replaced as needed to meet the business needs and/or government regulations. The position will represent a senior role for information technology as a Technical Analyst working closely with Business Analyst, Developers and Technical Architecture team to design, evaluate, recommend and implement the appropriate software solutions to align with the overall direction of the company's strategies.   Bachelors Degree or at least 7 years of IT experience At least 5 years of IT experience Minimum 4 years BAAN IV System Analysis and Design experience.   Desired Skills: - Positive Attitude, Ethics and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture - Writes documentation in a clear and concise manner and presents well-organized information - JAVA/J2EE or similar programming language experience - Experience defining complex logical and physical data models - Experience developing SQL and performance tuning database queries, views, stored procedures and table/index objects. - Strong testing background with attention to quality. - Self motivated and maintains a strong work ethic - Communicates effectively utilizing strong written and verbal skills. - Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines - Experienced with Related Technologies Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project) Visio Oracle/SQL Web Services Data Transfer tools, i.e., FTP, MQSeries Client Server Applications - Software Life cycle experience: Design; Build; Test; Deploy - Operating Systems: Windows; HP-UX, MVS - Able to work with minimal direction but promotes an open flow of information so all those concerned are well informed Navistar.com to discover more about our organization.   Powering Ingenuity.
