Systems Analyst / Programmer

Our company is a privately held, global supplier of electrical components to the automotive aftermarket with operations in Mexico, Canada and the United States.  We currently have an opening at our Ontario, California facility for a Business Systems Analyst.  This position reports to the Director of IT. 



Responsibilities:

The qualified candidate is a hands-on IT leader with a top-tier technical skill set and a proven track-record of success in supporting day-to-day IT operations for a 500+ workstation environment.  Responsibilities include: Performing day-to-day IT support functions including ERP, hardware, software and phone system design, development, maintenance and support. Mentoring and developing junior IT staff Proactively identifying ways to use cost-effective technology solutions to support business performance and provide competitive advantage. Collaborating with other business unit leaders (production management, engineering management, quality management, etc.) to determine effective use of technological solutions to business challenges. Effectively communicating relevant IT-related information to senior IT management





Minimum Qualifications BA/BS in computer science, MIS, mathematics or related field. 7+ years of professional IT experience in infrastructures, business systems, engineering systems, telecommunication, business processes and application development5+ years of hands-on technical experience in programming, database design, and systems administration. Experience in managing / supporting a 500+ workstation environment including hardware and software support, and network and systems administration. Large-scale project management experience. Experience managing multiple direct reports. Excellent communications skills (written and oral). Fluency in Spanish a plus

Technical Requirements  Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networking (TCP/IP networks, switching, routing, Cisco IOS, PIX, VLAN’s, ASA, QOS, VoIP, WAN’s) Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Windows / Windows Server / Active Directory / DNS / Microsoft Exchange MCSE / MCSA / CCNA / CCNP or equivalent certificaitons Firm understanding of RDBMS concepts (including experience with SQL Server and T-SQL) Administration experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Familiarity with VMWare ESX Server / Virtual Center Programming experience in C a plus.
