Systems Analyst

Overview:

This position will provide technical leadership and project management to variety of business technology initiatives. This person will work with management, business users, internal IT resources, contractors and consultants to understand business requirements and then to understand and apply various software solutions to meet business needs. The incumbent should have demonstrated success in all phases of software project delivery lifecycle including, but not limited to: requirements definition, selection, project planning and management, technology evaluation, deployment and ongoing support.

Essential Responsibilities:Work with functional business users to understand project objectives and to assist in selection, deployment and ongoing management of business software solutions. Provide technical leadership and direction to software development/delivery project teams.



Additional Responsibilities:Function as a technology leader within the IT department. Investigate new technologies, purpose strategic directions, develop and communicate standards and coach both technical and functional users towards standard directions.



Specific Duties:Project software architecture. Standards development communication. Project management and communication. Technology evaluation. Technology leadership. Business interaction & guidance. Project Specification and Scope Development. Project technology evaluation. Project technology coordination. Project turnover and development of ongoing support standards.



Skills/Knowledge/Ability:5+ years demonstrated experience developing and deploying business software solutions. Demonstrated experience developing software specifications. Experience managing software development/deployment projects. Full understanding of IT software management practices. 5+ years supporting business software solutions. Working knowledge of ASP, .NET technology, C#, SQL Server & Oracle RDBMS technologies. Working knowledge of concepts, principles, tools and techniques of system analysis is required. Experience with Microsoft BizTalk a plus. Outstanding time management and organizational skills; can swiftly/competently manage multiple tasks with ease and without compromise to quality of deliverables. Deadline-oriented and highly disciplined; can easily/effectively self-manage. Outstanding attention to detail. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.







Expected Travel:Limited. May be required to support international community during "off" hours.



Education/Experience:Minimum of degree of MS Computer Science required. 5+ Years of Experience.
