Within Tyco Safety Products, we design, manufacture, and distribute thousands of products ranging from fire detection and suppression systems, personal protective equipment and intrusion security to access control and video solutions, anti-theft and supply chain solutions.Tyco Fire & Security is currently searching for a Supply Planning Supervisor to be located in Lithia Springs, Georgia. Job Responsibilities:In this role you will be responsible for product planning processes including the execution of a monthly demand plan as provided by the SBU. Must have the ability to complete or supervise specific activities that lead to the successful execution of product procurement into the distribution center to meet on time delivery to customers expectations while keeping cost reduction initiatives in focus. Provides assistance to the Supply Planning team on key decisions if/when required.Ensure the availability of finished goods inventory in support of all SBU?s within the Tyco Safety Products portfolio.Supervise the daily execution of finished goods purchase orders, expediting, and rescheduling the supply line to balance on-time delivery to customers and maintaining proper inventory levels.Supervise additional supply planning issues related to Accounts Payables reconciliation, closing out receiving issues causing inventory transparencies, supplier lead time reduction and metric reporting.Takes a lead role in acting as Supply Chain liaison to the SBU?s and project management related to finished goods supply planning.Requirements: Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university.3-5 years work related experience or 5+ years of equivalent combination of both.Must possess exceptional analytical expertise.Must be able to drive multiple issues to completion.Must possess proficient problem solving.Must possess general computer skills.Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
