The Supervisor Maintenance partners with operations to establish strategies and priorities to improve reliability of equipment and processes site-wide.

Job Essentials:
-Ensure adherence to all company, industry and regulatory policies and standards of safe work practices.
-Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance and reliability activities for site-wide manufacturing process equipment, HVAC equipment, utility equipment, facilities and plant mobile equipment.
-Provide work direction to Maintenance Associates on a daily basis to ensure adherence to established schedules; timely response to concerns; efficient and effective execution of maintenance activities; and, high quality of workmanship.
-Assist in identifying and procuring critical spare parts, supplies, tools or equipment.
-Assist in root cause analysis and execution of corrective actions.
-Assist in maintaining the site CMMS by updating Equipment, Work Order, Task and Inventory modules and by timely documentation of reliability activities in the Work Order system.
-Assist in identifying needs and executing strategies for training and development of maintenance associates.
-Assist in performance management of maintenance associates.
-Assist in development and execution of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
-Ensure high levels of cleanliness and housekeeping in all maintenance and utility shops and areas.
-Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods.
-Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
-Supports the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
-Follows all rules, laws and procedures related to HS&E, ISO and other regulations.
-Other projects/duties as assigned or needed.

Required Skills:
-Proven understanding or expertise in basic mechanical maintenance crafts (mill righting, pipefitting, hydraulics, welding etc.) and/or basic electrical maintenance skills (AC/DC motors and motor controls, AC/DC drives, PLC systems, instrumentation systems, distribution systems, power systems up to 69kV etc).
-Proven understanding or expertise in utility equipment such as boilers, compressors, chillers and cooling towers.
-Proven computer skills.
-Must be able to operate plant mobile equipment such as forklift, scissor lifts, JLG lifts etc.
-Must be able to effectively and professionally communicate orally and in writing in English
-Safety/Housekeeping

Required Education/Experience:
-Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
-7 years industrial maintenance experience to include 2 years of industry experience in plastic extrusion, colorants or compounding.
-3 years of prior supervisory/lead experience in a manufacturing environment
