Supervisor - Logistics

FANUC Robotics America, Inc. is the leader in designing, engineering and manufacturing innovative robots and robotic systems that impact business performance for global customers.  FANUC Robotics is currently searching for a Logistics Supervisor to join our team.  Primary responsibilities will include:

 

· Lead responsibility to ensure all facets of Department are maintained including Inventory Control, Warehouse Maintenance, Shipping, Receiving, Packaging, Quality, Safety and Continuouse Improvement.

 

· Logistics Supervision

· Warehouse & Dock Maintenance

· Receiving, Put Away, Pick, Shipping, Distribution

· Inventory Control

· Employee Satisfaction

 

· Staffing and Work Environment

· Develop and maintain departmental procedures

· Provide leadership and direction that focuses group efforts to optimize execution and ability to exceed customer expectations

· Maintain group performance measures (OMQ)

· Cross functional interface to assist in resolution of daily issues

· Drive process, procedure, and continuous improvement implementations within group

· Provide training and development of staff

 

· Ensure compliance to FRA Quality system and lead Continuous Improvement activities including LIT system, ESP & IS Requests

 

 

Ideal candidate will have the following experience/education:

 

· Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management or Business-related discipline, or equivalent experience.

· Minimum four years Warehouse Operations and/or Transportation Industry experience

· Two years Supervisory Experience preferred  Experience with an ERP System, BaaN preferred
