one of the largest Steel Service Centers in the New England States has an immediate opening in Naugatuck Connecticut for the following position;
Experienced Warehouse Shift Supervisor
Now operating from a 27,000 sq ft warehouse, due to enormous growth, Pennsylvania Steel is in the process of building a 64,000 sq foot in warehouse in Naugatuck Ct and is looking for a motivated individual to oversee most plant operational duties. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual. if you are experienced in the steel industry and have leadership abilities, this could be your future.
Responsibilities will include the following:Overseeing all shift employees and production schedulingCoordinate plant safety and cleanliness                                                    Must have good verbal and written skillsMust be able to demonstrate leadership and have the ability motivate a workforce                                                                                 Must be dependable, well organized, able to multi-task, have basic computer skills and test drug freeMust be experienced with overhead cranes, forklifts and saws
