Located in Burns Harbor, the Staffing Manager will:Manage a team of professionals to develop and implement policies, programs, and processes to maintain a diverse, ready-to-employ pool of experienced applicants for ArcelorMittal USA.  Oversee the administration of relocation and immigration activities for new employees and domestic and international transferees.Collaborate on the design and development of recruiting programs and potential sources to fill talent needs identified in annual workforce plans.Support operation facilities and staff departments in US.  Supervises staff of 3 HR representative positions.External recruiting/search/payroll firms; Procurement on contracts with vendors; Compensation on employment offers; legal counsel on immigration issues and other employment matters; external providers of relocation assistance; International Mobility Group for ArcelorMittal.Project leader on implementing an applicant tracking system to be used by all USA locations.  Participate in design, validation, and implementation of a USA standard for hourly and salary pre-employment assessment and selection processes.  Collaborate with local HR management on plans and activities associated with attending career fairs and other public events intended to promote the ArcelorMittal brand and attract quality talent.  Maintain accurate data on key performance indicators; preapre reports.  Ensure that the recruiting programs support the company's desire for a diverse workforce with equal opportunities for employment. Participate in developing and managing the department annual budget.  Performance management of direct reports.Take direction from Manager, Talent Acquisition.

Experience Requirements:

Minimum/ Basic Requirements:Two years in a manager level position.  Proven experience managing large projects and/or implementing new programs with broad impact to successful conclusion.  Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; collaborative problem solver.  Able to work with people from diverse backgrounds, organization functions and levels.  Proven ability to plan and organize work. 

Preferred Requirements:Experience working for a large manufacturing company.  Five years experience in recruiting with associated knowledge of process from applicant tracking to hire.  Familiar with domestic and international relocation programs.

Education Requirements:

Minimum/ Basic Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business related field.English as native.

Preferred Requirements:Master's degree in Business or related field.
