The position will primarily be responsible for SOX Compliance, including everything from identifying key controls (benchmarking), developing test plans, executing testing, concluding on and reporting findings, and making process improvement recommendations. In addition, the position will help with implementing controls. There will also be some operational and financial audits. The Company has International operations, so some travel will be required. This is a newly created position. Candidates Ideal candidate will have strong SOX, operational and financial audit background with 1 - 3 years of total experience. Could be someone straight of public accounting, or out of an IA group. Needs to be a CPA and/or CIA, or someone pursuing it. Needs to be a very strong communicator, a driver, independent worker, and someone with thick skinned who can deal with push back and external auditors. Manufacturing experience and someone who can speak French are big value adds. Compensation is based on experience and salary history.
