Staff Auditor

Successful Manufacturing Company in the Dallas/Fort Worth area has an immediate need for a Staff Auditor to join their growing team.

 

Responsibilities:

 Assist in planning reviewsReview relevant Business Unit policies and procedures and, as applicable, U.S. and international laws and regulationsUnderstand the business environment in which company operates and stays current on recent developments; maintains strategic focusInterview key personnel involved in the business processPerform tests of processes and controlsMaintain appropriate work papers in accordance with TAS and IIA StandardsDemonstrate proficiency in applying AUDIT principles, skills and techniquesUnderstand the operational and compliance risks which affect process designsAssist in presentation of findings and report preparationRecommend and reaches agreement on corrective actionsOccasionally responsible for all aspects of a review including risk assessment, testing, presentation of findings and report preparationManage hours for assigned and other responsible areas

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance MBA or other advanced degree desiredProfessional certification preferredKnowledge of business laws and regulations 2 - 4 years of prior business experience in operational or compliance auditing, legal or ethics compliance, business strategy and processes, or internal controlsAbility to analyze complex processes and to determine the efficiency and effectiveness of the process and related controlsStrong Excel/Word capabilityExtensive internet research capabilities AUDIT Command Language (ACL) preferred Ability to travel 20% to 30% of the timeParticipation in continuous education/certification program in area(s) of special interest
