Our client is looking for an accountant who will be highly visible within the company, with wide reaching responsibilities. Our client is looking for a worker who can handle deadlines and can wear many hats. Responsibilities:" Participate in monthly closing activities" Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial schedules" Reconcile general ledger and bank accounts on a monthly basis" Identify and investigate account variances on a monthly basis" Participate in Sarbanes Oxley compliance projects" Assist in special projects as assignedRequirements:" Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance" 1-3 years of experience" CPA or CPA candidate" Working knowledge and expertise in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles" Sound analytical skills" Excellent communication skills
