We are an Equal Opportunity Employer valuing workforce diveQualifications:While working with project engineers and customers to develop new PET performs and containers, the Senior Technician develops the best possible process for injection, one-step and/or two-step stretch blow molding platforms. You will write appropriate policies and procedures and establish optimal processes and parameters on injection or blow molding platforms to evaluate start-up validation of new products. You will also be expected to implement and enforce safety, GMP and HACCP in compliance with OSHA and the American Institute of Bakers.The position requires two to four years of experience in an R&D lab or the manufacturing industry, plus technical discipline certification or an Associate’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering Technology. Must have a fundamental understanding of plastics and how PET is related to the injection/blow molding process and package performance testing. Other requirements include: an understanding of monolayer and multilayer co-injection molding processes or blow molding processes; and fundamental knowledge of properties and processing of polymers, blends and additives.
