Learn more about ADC at www.adc.com.  JOB DESCRIPTION:  We have an opportunity for a Sr. SAP ABAP Developer within our IT organization based at our World Headquarters in Eden Prairie, MN.  This position has principle responsibility for developing and supporting business processes and systems for ADC’s IT Operations and GTM areas.  Major responsibilities include the following:  Partner with key business experts. Analyze and document business processes and functional requirements, as needed. Design, document, develop, test, implement, and support applications in accordance with ADC and IT policies and procedures.  Provide technical expertise required to implement improvements and rollout of new and existing application solutions. Work with internal customers in the implementation of information technology in accordance with ADC and IT strategic plans. Communicates and/or presents status on program development and projects. Assists less experienced I/T personnel to help develop their skills and knowledge.  REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. 4-6 years direct experience with SAP R/3 and associated technologies Knowledge of the SAP Workflow. Knowledge of ABAP/4 WORKFLOWS, EDI, ALE, IDocs, BAPI’s and BDCs Understanding of Inbound/Outbound interface architecture Knowledge and use of Use Exits and Function Modules Proficient in the use of ABAP Workbench, Data Dictionary, Debug and SWL tracing tools Development experience in the functional areas of MM/PP, APO/SCM, SD/WM and or PM/QM/SM Experience participating on cross functional teams through the complete software development/implementation life cycle. 3-5 years experience designing, building and implementing business solutions using information technology. Prior experience with deployments and rollouts of functionality within a global setting. Experience with structured project management methodologies, systems analysis/design/programming, database design, and technical/business writing. Excellent communication and collaboration skills a must.
