Position Description:

Qualifications:

POSITION SUMMARY: This position provides leadership and skills to develop and scale up new foam products and processes in the RD area located in Granville, NY Location.COMPETENCIES: PHD with 0-2 years experience, or MS with 5-7 years experience or BS with 7-10 years experience. Degrees should be in Mechanical/chemical engineering, or polymer/material scienceMinimum of 5-8 years of experience in high volume foam, film, coating or other related development/manufacturing areasDemonstrated successful track record in product development and scale up.Strong mechanical design skills are desirableSix Sigma certified highly desiredAbility to travel to vendors, customers, and plant sites around the globe on an as needed basisResponsibilities: Lead design and implementation efforts on new foam product material formulations, and nnew foam manufacturing technologies.Lead and debug, verification, qualification and transfer efforts for a new foam technologies in the transition to manufacturingConceive of new and innovative technical approaches using knowledgte of new and competitive technologiesCoordinate the activities of cross functional teamsAssist production group with resolution of key existing product and process problems.TO APPLY: For immediate consideration, please apply below.
