General Summary
As a senior member of the HRIS team, the selected candidate will provide both technical and functional support for PeopleSoft HRMS v8.9 including HR, Payroll, Benefits and Employee Self Service. The individual will have a high level of communication skills and be able to work with customers in translating customer needs into business requirements. This will include analysis, design, development of technical specs, performance, security, application upgrades, reports and interfaces as well as the applying patches, fixes, and upgrades. The position is located in the Boca Raton, FL corporate office and will report to the Director, HRIS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Demonstrated hands on technical and functional experience in PeopleSoft applications for HR, Payroll, Benefits and Self Service.Advanced project management skills, process re-engineering and experience in evaluating and applying information technology solutions to business requirements. A strong understanding of overall business processes and best practices a must.Highly experienced in PeopleSoft technical knowledge which includes alterations to existing programs, application testing, and migration, configuring Peoplesoft foundation tables, vendor interfaces, documentation of modifications, upgrades, customizations and applying patches and fixes.Develop and design standardized and ad-hoc management reports using PeopleSoft query and other reporting tools (SQL & SQR).Initiates action to identify and resolve technical/functional problems and develops next steps and actions to ensure timely deliverables and project success.Knowledge of PeopleSoft associated access and security.Make recommendations to improve effectiveness of system.Assist Peoplesoft users by answering procedural questions and troubleshooting problems.
Knowledge and Skills Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related area.Five to eight years using Peoplesoft HRIS system is required.Must have detailed knowledge using PeopleTools technology.In-depth PeopleSoft Payroll knowledge both functional and technical a must.In-depth knowledge of SQL & SQR a must.Should have performed at least one PeopleSoft bundle/service pack update and/or played a key role in upgrading PeopleSoft from one version to another.Ability to extract and manipulate data and present findings to non-technical users.Excellent organizational skills.Strong analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization.
