Sr. Maintenance Technician

Sr. Maintenance Technician (Night Shift) Opportunity with Fiskars Brands - Garden & Outdoor Living Division

 

Fiskars Brands, a global manufacturer of branded consumer products, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced, team-oriented individual to fill the role ofSr. Maintenance Tech. (night shift) in the Maintenance Department at our FISKARS Garden and Outdoor Living (GOL) division in Apopka, FL.  The primary duties of this role will be to perform maintenance, repairs and modification of industrial plant equipment, including controls and distribution system. Repair, modify, and perform preventative maintenance on injection molding, as well as chillers, thermal controllers, conveyer systems, and associated equipment.  Perform necessary troubleshooting and modifications to power systems, controls, variable speed drives, and logic circuits (Digital and Analog).  Perform repairs and modifications on Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Thermal regulating systems and interact with production and supervisory personnel to minimize down time, and maximize production scheduling. 

 

Essential duties and responsibilities include:Repair, modify, and perform preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment.Perform repairs and modifications on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Troubleshoot electrical circuits (AC and DC).Work with diagnostic tools.Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.

Ideal candidate will possess: 10 + years experience in industrial maintenance of machinery and electrical circuits.  Preferably on injection molding machines.Journeyman level of workmanship.Able to work independently with little guidance.Able to work nights and a flexible shift.Able to lift 50lbs.
