Sr. Human Resource Generalist with Labor This position is responsible for non represented and represented PDCs, for keeping a healthy high performance culture at those facilities including employee relations and communications, as well as being the HR support. This position also supports fostering positive relationships between management and union leadership to include mediation and counseling and supports the grievance process. Provides support in functional areas of human resources including but not limited to recruitment and employment, employee and/or labor relations, job evaluation, compensation management, AA/EEO, FMLA/STD and special projects. Assists in the development and implementation of human resources policies and procedures. The position is also responsible for the assisting in the preparation of local contract negotiations.   Responsibilities:  Responsible for non union PDCs and for keeping a healthy high performance culture at those facilities, including employee relations, employee development, peer review process, focus groups and continual communications.  Develop on-going relationships with operating PDC management and international/local union leadership to facilitate cooperation at union facilities.  Provide coaching and advice to local management on HR issues, processes, programs.  Work with Manager, HR and staff to develop effective action plans that link to the business.  Resolve or provide guidance to local management regarding step 2 grievances.  Assist in facilitating group planning, decisions, and meetings.  Investigate employee complaints and resolve conflicts.  Advise local operations on ongoing contract administration as needed  Serve as an employee champion - listening and responding to needs.  Understand local business issues and assist in developing plans to address needs.  Participate in development of local salary plans  Other Generalist duties as assigned.    Bachelor's Degree or at least 6 years of Human Resource Generalist experience At least 6 years Human Resource Generalist experience At least two years of labor experience At least two years of experience with non union PDC or plant facilities in human resources role. Able and willing to travel up to 50% - 60% The candidate placed into this position will be ineligible to apply for any other positions within the company for two years following the date of placement, unless approved to do so by his or her manager.
