Sr. ERP Programmer

LMA North America, Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of LMA International NV.  As a world leader in anesthesia we focus on airway management and specialty products nationwide.  Our company designs, develops, markets, and distributes medical equipment; principally the LMAâ„¢ laryngeal mask airway line of supraglottic airway device products, as well as new products currently launched and under development.  We are dedicated to improving patient care by providing the finest quality devices.

 

To compliment our professional team, we are seeking a Sr. ERP Programmer who will have a significant role in the implementation, support, and maintenance of the corporate business/ERP system and the associated technology.  The incumbent must have experience in launching new ERP systems and will evaluate requests for modifications to business application systems, perform system requirements analysis, prepare functional specifications and technical specifications, plans, develops, tests, and documents computer programs, applying knowledge of programming techniques and computer systems.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

· Modifies and adapts business software (ERP) system as needed to meet business requirements

· Recommends changes to business practices and operating procedures as needed to fit business software (ERP) system

· Creates reports and assists end-user with creating reports

· Supports EDI system

· Administers security for business system and database (SQL Server)

· Provides system support, identifies and resolves issues

· Installs upgrades to business system (ERP) and supporting software

· Trains users

· Performs special projects as assigned as required

 

Qualifications

 

· Minimum five (5) years experience providing programming support for Windows based business software (ERP) system and Microsoft SQL Server; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Bachelor’s degree BA/BS) from four-year college or university in business related field

· Experience with  the implementation of a new business/ERP system

· Experience providing business system support in the following areas:

o  Warehouse, distribution and inventory management

o  Cost Accounting

o  Customer Service and order entry

o  Accounts Receivable

o  Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting

 

· Willingness and aptitude to learn unfamiliar systems and adapt to new technologies

· Strong individual problem solving, analytical abilities and communications skills

· Strong oral and written skills

· Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships

· Advanced  level proficiency with computer skills (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

· Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
