Sr. Accountant (Houston, TX) Job Description

To support all of TCI’s base accounting information and the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements with accuracy and timeliness.

 

Responsibilities:

· Prepare multiple internal and external finance reports

· Manage backlog accounting

· Calculate revenue recognized based on production

· Serve as backup for all other accounting positions

· Create, implement and test internal control procedures

· Other special projects as required

 

Experience required:

· 5 years as senior-level accountant

 

Any particular aptitude/skill required:

· Detail-oriented

· Capable of solving complex problems

· Trainable

· Willing to work hard

· Team Player

 

Qualifications/education required:

· Bachelors in Accounting
