Specification Writer for Section 08710 "Builders Hardware". Responsible for writing technical specifications for the architectural community including code compliance for new construction projects. Prospect for new opportunities with architectural firms as well as further develop relationships with existing architectural base. Provide AIA certified presentations and offer consultation services to new and existing firms.Percentage of Travel:25Min. Yrs. Experience: 5 Education Standard:BA/BS or equivalent experienceEducation Type: Construction, Architecture, or similar preferred

Understanding of product application, building codes, and ability to read blueprints. Ability to build and maintain relationships with architects. Strong product presentation skills. Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines. Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, LotusNotes, etc.). Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work as a team player. Willing to attend industry training as required.
