Job Category: Administrative/Clerical View this video View our Career Video Length: 2:39 min BAE Systems San Diego Ship Repair is a division of BAE Systems Ship Repair - the nation's leading non-nuclear ship repair, conversion and modernization company. San Diego is one of the Navy's largest megaports. We provide both commercial and government customers excellence in service, an accomplished, experienced and highly knowledgeable work force and a strong management team. An approved ISO 9001 company, we have approximately 1000 employees and a commitment to quality and on-time delivery.  Develop specifications for upcoming MCM, CG, and DDG availabilities. Review and interpret government provided 2-kilos and drawings to prepare detailed work specifications. Perform local and over seas ship checks to aid in the development of work specifications. Prepare and submit requests for government furnished information. Assist in LLTM identification and item estimate with PMP Material Coordinator and Estimator.  Interface with Program Managers, supervisors, Port Engineers, Ships force, Supervisor Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair, Craft managers, material coordinators and outside vendors. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, standard items and other navy documents.
