Our ongoing growth and success has created a dynamic opportunity for a Sourcing Professional to support our Grand Rapids, MI Strategic Sourcing Team.

Manager

This newly created position reports to our Director of Strategic Sourcing and includes the following responsibilities:Lead a strategic team sourcing concept in developing and qualifying all new suppliers. This will include quotation with new suppliers and putting supply agreements in place.Develop and implement strategic supplier performance metrics.  Develop lowest total cost supply chain for various component / raw material categories.Improve existing overall supplier performance for various component / raw material categories.Manage existing offshore sources and seek out new offshore suppliers. 

Qualified Candidates Will Possess:Bachelor's Degree in relevant disciplineA minimum of 5 years' work experience in the Sourcing/Purchasing/Supply chain fieldAbility to act in a leadership roleWorking knowledge of contemporary sourcing procurement practicesEffective communication skills to interface with internal customers and suppliers
