Sourcing Engineer
Hazen Paper Company is a third generation family owned paper converting manufacturer. We are growing our business and are looking to expand our current Materials Management department.  This candidate will be expected to work on new product development projects to establish and execute material sourcing plans. The successful candidate will be responsible to identify and manage supplied material program risks. This position will be responsible for qualifying raw material suppliers for paper, board, foil, and film to be used in our paper converting process.  This position will make frequent visits to suppliers to qualify materials, investigate problems and customer complaints. This position will be responsible for learning the purchasing functions and systems at Hazen Paper Company in order to be a resource to the existing purchasing department.Â
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or paper making. Experience in purchasing and paper converting a plus.Â
20% travel will be required.
