Software Support Specialist

Software Support Position:

 

We are looking for an entry-level software support specialist.  This is a position with an established growing company and has a great opportunity for advancements.

 

Responsibilities would include Tier 1 Software Application Support for internal, in-house applications. The support would include assisting users on the phone, setting up user permissions and performing web-conference training sessions. 

 

Also, maintaining document and application links on our internal and external website. This position would also assist with creating reports, updating documents and editing images for use on our internal and external website.

 

Software skills required would include a basic HTML/CSS. Knowledge of using report writing tools such as Crystal Reports, Microsoft Reporting Services and basic SQL skills would be extremely helpful.

 

Skills which would be very positive would be a proficiency in using Adobe tools to maintain and update PDF files with form fields. Design skills using Adobe Fireworks and/or Photoshop for creating and editing images for use on a website is a plus. Some experience using server-side scripting languages, including PHP and ASP, and connecting to databases with them would be extremely beneficial.

 

This position involves interaction with people at all computer skill levels.  Patients, positive attitude, the ability to learn quickly and good communication skills are required.
