Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

POSITION TITLE :  SHIPPING & RECEIVING COORDINATOR

 

REPORTS TO:  OPERATIONS MANAGER

 

POSITION SUMMARY : Coordinates shipping and receiving transactions for all incoming and out going shipments.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Completes all shipping documentation for out going international and domestic shipments.

 

· Interface with UPS and FED EX carriers and websites.

 

· Interfaces with internal materials, production planners and contract management personnel to provide all shipping services.

 

· In coordination with Materials Manager, prioritizes receipt of incoming material sand packing and shipping of out bound material.

 

· Receives material into manufacturing database and insures quantity and part numbers are correct relative to purchase order.

 

· Performs other duties as directed.

 

Requirements:

 

Educational : High School Diploma or GED

 

Experience : 2+  Yrs experience in materials / job coordination in a manufacturing facility.

 

Skills: Ability to read and write English language. Manufacturing database experience required. ESD handling training.  MSWord Excel & Outlook.

 

Physical: Able to lift 50 lbs. Must be able to package electronic test equipment and spend time coordinating materials movements through out the company.
