Shipping and Receiving Clerk Basic FunctionPackage, weigh and mark all outbound shipments in cartons on skids as well as small packages.Consolidate into cartons, segregate and load to outgoing trucks.Fill out and log shipping papers, including bills of lading.Receive all incoming goods.Distribute all items after identification and quantity verification.  Assess any damage and move material subject to inspection to designated area.Create and distribute receiving ticket copies.  Maintain order purchase file.Operate forklift to unload and load trucks and other moving activityUse weighing scale; manifest systems for ground and air shipments, shrink wrap pallets and use banding machine.Maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and orderly conditionConvert all sizes to metric.Become knowledgeable of Parker product line.Other assignments deemed necessary by Service Center Manager. Scope/Supervision and Interaction:Works with Service Center Manager, Customer Service Representatives, and other Warehouse Associates. Qualifications:High school graduateExperience in warehouse or distribution environment Physically fitAble to exert 25 to 80 pounds of force occasionally and/or exert 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently to move objects  Job Requirements: Job Code : 63034322 Division/Department : Parker Hannifin
