Headquartered in Minneapolis, we manufacture a complete line of high-performance netting used in major markets ranging from consumer packaged goods to building material. We are a progressive company with over 600 employees in five global manufacturing facilities in Minneapolis, MN, Athens, GA, Genk, Belgium and Guadalajara, Mexico. This position would be located at our West Chicago, IL location.The Shift Supervisor will be responsible for a safe and cost effective operation of their shift. This shift will cover the 2nd Shift hours (3:30 pm – 12:00 am). Areas of Responsibility:· Supervises shift personnel to ensure behavior and performance expectations are met or exceeded. · Gives work direction and ensures that employees are trained. · Monitors shift production and quality on a daily basis. · Maintains a positive working relationship on their shift as well as between the other two shifts.·  Responsible for operations continuity between shifts. ·  Oversight with regards to quality and delegation of responsibility to the Machine Operators as needed. ·  Assure plant environment is clean and safe. · Assure compliance to OSHA and ISO standards. · Other duties as required. Minimum Qualifications:· Able to work 2nd shift hours (3:30pm – 12:00am) plus any required weekends and overtime.· High school diploma or GED· 1-3 years manufacturing experience· Good attendance Core Competencies:· Fundamental technical and mechanical abilities· Some computer skills· Strong communication skills· Supervisory skills· Read and comprehend English and SpanishIn exchange for your expertise, we offer a challenging, fast-paced work environment that supports a strong work/life balance and where high performance and success are fostered and rewarded.
