Vactor Manufacturing, based in Streator, IL is a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, a $1.2B company. More than 10,000 units have been sold worldwide, far more than any other sewer cleaner manufacturers. We are currently seeking a Service Tech at our Long Beach, CA Service Location.

Typical duties for this position would include: Qualified candidate must have experience in mechanical, hydraulic and electrical system repairs on industrial vacuum trucks and related equipment. This includes a general knowledge of and the ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical and water systems common to the vacuum truck and sewer cleaning truck industry. Must be able to weld and fabricate metal (mig, stick, plasma, torch cutting).

A CDL is a plus. Must be willing to travel to customer locations and perform repairs in the field.
