Service Program Strategy Developer Team Leader - Global
Leads the development and implementation of unique global & ROW service strategies to support new growth initiatives, programs, and features to ensure service and support information is released at the appropriate time to ensure that dealers are well prepared to service the design. Also supervises the Strategic Developer Team in serving as advisors to the sales force, customers, and potential customers regarding the resolution of technical or engineering issues that affect the sales, installation, and utilization of organization products and/or services. May also propose changes in products and/or services that result in cost reductions and increased sales. Directs and coordinate the activity of supervised personnel either direct or contract. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering 7 years of Reliability & Quality, Engineering, or Customer Service experience Ability to travel 25% Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics, and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification(s) desired Overseas travel or studies Foreign languages Proficiency with International's Service Information System (ISIS) Experience with troubleshooting/repairing (including the use of special tools as necessary) and or maintaining on-highway vehicles Experience supervising/managing direct reports Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) Minimum (1) year experience with service publications Understanding of service tools and dealer service department operations Knowledge of dealer operations and procedures In-depth product knowledge and experience (working knowledge of truck systems and their operation) Ability to read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and refrigerant) Problem Solving - Uses rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions; probes all fruitful sources for answers, can see hidden problems; is excellent at honest analysis; looks beyond the obvious and doesn't stop at the first answers Learning on the Fly - Learns quickly when facing new problems; a relentless and versatile learner; open to change; analyzes both successes and failures for clues to improvement; experiments and will try anything to find solutions; enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks; quickly grasps the essence and the underlying structure of anything Organizational Agility - Knowledgeable about how organizations work; knows how to get things done both through formal channels and the informal network; understands the origin and reasoning behind key policies, practices, and procedures; understands the cultures of organizations Visit us at www.Navistar.com to discover more about our organization.
