Within Tyco Safety Products, we design, manufacture, and distribute thousands of products ranging from fire detection and suppression systems, personal protective equipment and intrusion security to access control and video solutions, anti-theft and supply chain solutions.Tyco Safety Products is currently searching for a Service Planning Engineer to be located in Boca Raton, Florida. Job Responsibilities:In this role you will be responsible to support the Product Development Process with emphasis on the serviceability and installability of products. Global responsibility for conducting in lab and field verification (FVT) testing. Define and submit requirements to the engineering team: Installation strategy (contractor/installer/technician installable & customer installable.) Develop product service strategy: decision matrix for if/when a product is repaired and to what level (single level, multi-level): how a product is serviced and by whom; skill sets required to service product; level of factory support. Travel required up to 25%.
