Service Advisor

Service Advisor – DUECO, Inc.  York Service Center

 

Job Summary: Working closely with the shop supervisor, this position supports the smooth operations of the York service center by providing customer quotes; scheduling the maintenance and repairs for various mobile utility equipment; communicating on an ongoing basis with customers from initial inquiry, following up with status updates and notification when job is complete.  In addition, this position also is expected to provide support to the Service technician by investigating and ordering various parts.

 

 Skills & Qualifications

 

·  High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

·  3-5 Years of Related Experience

·  Solid Product Knowledge

·  Strong Customer Service Orientation and Sense of Urgency

·  Ability to effectively communicate with customers, vendors and coworkers – verbally and written, on the telephone or in person

·  Ability to problem solve and offer solutions to customers

·  Solid Math Skills

·  Keyboarding and Numeric Data Entry Skills

·  Ability to work effectively in a computer environment. Basic to intermediate skills in Internet Explorer, MS Outlook, Word and Excel

·  Solid organization, prioritization and follow-through skills

·  Ability to effectively read blueprints and general understanding of CAD drawings

·  Strong hydraulic knowledge

·  Ability to work effectively in a fast-pace, time-sensitive, quick changing work environment.
