Senior Web/Network Administrator

Custom Direct, a leading provider of customized printed products, security, and fraud protection services to small businesses and consumers, located in Harford County, is seeking a Senior Web/Network Administrator of Online Print to join our team.  

 

The Senior Web/Network Administrator will be responsible for maintaining a change management process for the web presence, data propagation across multiple tiers, and assisting with web application security auditing.

Responsibilities include the following: •Background in applying security best practices installing/configuring OS, IIS, MS-SQL, .Net and third-party applications. •Experience supporting web developers. Understanding of the development process and best practices. •Extensive expertise in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP configuration and management. •SAN Experience •As a member of a team of administrators you will share responsibility for maintaining and upgrading Windows servers on CDI’s internal corporate network and remotely hosted websites (application, file services, and / or domain controllers) including: System patching, Anti-virus updates, Error log monitoring, capacity usage tracking (e.g. when will additional resources be requires - disk capacity, memory, processor upgrade or network throughput be required). •Shared management/administration of CDI’s development environment/network which is heavily virtualized. You will be required to build/deploy both virtual servers and developer workstations. •VMWare administration – monitoring and increasing system thresholds. •Experience with content management systems. •Maintain/create documentation, SOP, troubleshooting, passwords and network diagrams. •Scripting •Project management experience •Ability to express/present technical information to non-technical staff and clients. •Driven to exceed customer/client expectations

Candidate must have 3-5 years of hands on experience installing, configuring, and maintaining multiple Windows 2003 Servers in a VMWare virtualized environment. Proven understanding of IIS 6.0-7.0, understanding of network/web monitoring, MS-SQL. MCSA or MCSE preferred.
