An existing operating specialty steel manufacturer in Western PA is seeking a Senior Steel Industry Process Engineer who will direct the design, construction, training, commissioning and operation of a portion of a new capital project working in a project team organization. The selected candidate would be considered for a position in operations of the new facility following startup.

Desired experience:

1. Ten or more years experience for an operating steel producer or service company.

2. Experience in flat rolling in general and hot rolling in particular is preferred including heating, rolling, coiling and finishing of strip and plate products.

3. Experience with the design and maintenance of rolling mill equipment.

4. Tuning and troubleshooting experience with motor drive regulators is also desirable.

5. Candidates shall have a Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering degree.
