This position will interact with Project, R&D and Marketing managers, including other discipline group leaders, as you define, develop and test solutions and systems required for a series of new engineering projects. Machine GUI development using MS Visual Studio, C++, C#, ActiveX and the .net framework. Software/firmware development for programmable or embedded devices like PICs (Microchip 16F and 18F series), PLDs (Xilinx XC9500 series), microcontrollers (Motorola 68Hc11 and Hitachi 64180), and Ethernet / USB communication packages (Cypress FX2) - are a plus Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations where only limited standardization exists. Experience in organizing both development and production software CM systems is required, and by default the ability to interpret various instructions communicated in written, oral, diagram and/or schedule format. Secondary skills include PCB hardware, Control Systems (ladder logic, flow chart logic). This position requires leadership and the accompanying skillset to make sound technical decisions.
