Senior Reliability Engineer

More information can be found at www.covidien.com Electrical and/or mechanical reliability engineering and design quality assurance responsibility for electrosurgical medical device development. This includes design analysis, HALT/HASS testing, test system design and development using National Instruments LabVIEW, Design for Six Sigma activities, and participation in a cross-functional product development team. Plan and lead design quality assurance activities for a specific product. Support failure analysis and investigation. Requirements: BS Degree or higher in relevant engineering or science discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in reliability/design assurance and/or design engineering. Minimum of 2 years of expereince with LabVIEW and TestStand software applications. Experience with electrical and/or mechanical design and analysis tools (e.g. Electronics Workbench, Pro/E, etc.) Good verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem solving / troubleshooting skills. Familiarity with common laboratory equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, voltmeters, network analyzers, logic analyzers, etc.). Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
